about

The first of 2 slower tracks on my 'album'. Written and recorded in 2022, this one's hard to explain as when I write, I think I'm writing about something else, and then I discover, wait, there's a totally different meaning here. That's why music is so cool. I've been told by a good friend it reminds him of John Lennon. Who am I to say otherwise? A very cool thing happened with this one and the harmonies in that how they came out was a complete accident and I loved 'em.

lyrics

You've got a million friends
But don't know me
It's like somehow
We've never met

Time for everybody
Inside your circle
But is it just as superficial
To them?

That's the way it goes it's probably me
Cuz there's no way it could be you

If this is what you call friendship
Well, I guess that I just never knew
Cuz, if this what you call friendship
Then let me do it all for you
Ooh

Maybe it's just my perception
Or maybe that shoe
Fits me, too

Or could it be that
This is all normal
Yeah, I guess that it's
What people do

Not sure what I have expected
I just know it wasn't this

If this is what you call friendship
Well, I guess that I just never knew
Cuz, if this what you call friendship
Then let me do it all for you

Yeah, cuz if this is what you call friendship
Well, I guess that I just never knew
Cuz, if this what you call friendship
Then let me do it all for you, ooh
Ooh
